Dr Yin graduated from Zhejiang University, and later entered the Suzhou Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Technology, CAS. He worked in the University of Montreal for one year as the visiting scholar, learning in vivo fluorescent labeling and detection technology. As the person in charge, he has undertaken 3 Natural Science Foundations of China, the sub-project of Instrument Developing Project of Chinese Academy of Sciences, “Strategic Priority Research Program” of Chinese Academy of Sciences and more than 10 projects from local governments. The total funds were about 9 million RMB. So far Dr Yin has published 44 academic papers, of which 37 were SCI papers; He applied for 21 invention patents, of which 12 were authorized; He has written 2 monographs as well.

He was selected as the Youth Innovation Promotion Association of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has won the 2015 Science and Technology Youth Award of the Chinese Analysis and Testing Association and the third prize of the third Jinan High-tech Zone Entrepreneurship Competition in 2018; two articles were awarded 2016 -2017 Third Prize of Suzhou Natural Science Excellent Paper. 4 articles with him as the corresponding author won the third prize of Suzhou Natural Science Outstanding Papers.

1) Multi-drug resistance mechanism of cancer cells

Based on in vitro and in vivo models, the mechanism of occurrence, development and dissemination of multidrug resistance mediated by ABC transporters was systematically studied. Based on this, a raman spectroscopy-based identification technology for drug-resistant tumor cells was developed and the reversal agents were screened.

2) Environment and reproductive health

Comprehensively use a series of molecular biology methods such as Crispr/Cas9 and digital PCR to explore the mechanism of blood cell-free DNA methylation and transcription factors related to embryonic developmental abnormalities, discover new markers and develop highly sensitive detection technologies to assist clinical diagnosis.

3) Evaluation of biological effects of nanomaterials

Using zebrafish embryos, tumor cells and pathogenic bacteria as models, the role of ABC transporters in nanoparticle efflux and toxicity resistance and related regulatory mechanisms were studied, and the active stress mechanism of embryos/tumor cells/bacteria on environmental damage was revealed.
