Dr. Xiaohua Jian, the professorof Suzhou Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He attained his Ph.D. in Physics from Xian Jiaotong University in 2011. Then he joined the Suzhou Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Technology, where he was promoted to researcher in 2017. He is the deputy director of Medical Ultrasound Department, which is the Key Laboratory of Suzhou City. He is the outstanding member of Annual Youth Innovation Promoting Association of CAS, the expert in the talent plan of “Project 333” in Jiangsu Province. Up to now, he has published more than 50 papers and obtained more than 30 patents. His research fields include micro high frequency ultrasonic transducer design and fabrication, medical ultrasound system development, multiwavelength photoacoustic temperature measurement and optics spectroscopy.


(1) Micro high-frequency ultrasonic transducer: design and development of micro-high-frequency ultrasonic transducer, including intravascular ultrasonic transducer, gastric ultrasound transducer, bronchial ultrasonic transducer, etc.; ring array transducer, array / matrix high-frequency ultrasonic transducer, etc. , new ultrasonic transducer design and development, including 1-3 composite transducer, focusing transducer, ultra-sensitive transducer, laser transducer, PVDF transducer and so on.

(2) High-frequency ultrasound imaging system: development and research of intravascular ultrasound imaging system, ultrasonic endoscope imaging system, multi-channel high-frequency small animal ultrasound system, coding emission technology and et al.

(3) Multiwavelength photoacoustic imaging: monitoring the target temperature, distinguish the ultrafine structure of the organization, identify tissue components based on multiwavelength photoacoustic imaging, which can be used for vulnerability plaque identification, intraoperative temperature monitoring and multi-modal functional imaging diagnosis.
