Resume:

Kai Guo graduated from State Key Laboratory of Robotics and System, Harbin Institute of Technology. Now, he is an associate professor and supervisor working in Suzhou Institute of biomedical engineering technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is also a master's supervisor at the University of Science and Technology of China.

Kai Guo is mainly engaged in the research of medical robots and intelligent robot system. He has published 28 academic papers, he has applied/authorized more than 68 patents and 4 PCT patents.

Kai Guo was guest editor of “Advances in Mechanical Engineering”, “Measurement and Control”, and “Applied Sciences”, Kai Guo is reviewer of 15 journals such as Disability and rehabilitation”, “Ingenieria e Investigacion”, “Arabian Journal for Science and Engineering”, “Micromachines”. He serves as a reviewer for many 'Chinese core journals'. He is also a senior member of China Society of mechanical engineering.

The research group has one international doctoral student currently studying under the ANSO Scholarship. (Affiliated to Professor Yang H.'s research group.) Welcomes international doctoral students from computer, mechanical, electrical, and other related majors to join the research group.


Direction:

(1) Intelligent medical robots: flexible hand rehabilitation robots, exoskeleton hand rehabilitation robots, intelligent prosthetic hands, soft robots. etc.

(2) Robot intelligent sensing system: research the intelligent control of robot based on force tactile, EEG and EMG.
