On 29th February, Professor Arokia Nathan from the electronics department, University of Cambridge gave a academic visit to SIBET.

Professor Arokia Nathan inspected the medical Micro-nano department, the High-brightness LED lab, the Medical ultrasound lab and the Self-adaptive liquid crystal lab, through which he learned about the overview of SIBET, such as the background, research area, research programs. Professor Arokia Nathan also had a deep communication with the vice president of SIBET professor Ma Mingya focusing on collaboration of research and graduate education.

During the visit, Professor Arokia Nathan gave a report to the researchers and students in SIBET which is titled Flat Panel Biomedical Imaging.

Professor Arokia Nathan now works in the electronics department, University of Cambridge, who is famous on his major research work of nano photoelectric materials and devices.
