On March 20, Professor Lu Yongxiang, the Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress visited SIBET.

Professor Lu inspected the CT lab, the ultra-sound lab and the fine mechanisms department, inquiring some information of related research programs such as research progress, technology advantage and applied prospect.

During the visit, Professor Lu proposed some suggestion. He hoped that SIBET should insist on developing the ability of self-innovation in biomedical area, following the rules of economic and market, and make great contribute to people’s health and the whole country’s prosperity.
