Professor Steffen J. Glaser from Department of Chemistry, Technical University of Munich visited SIBET on 8 June 2011.

Firstly,ProfessorGlaser visited the SIBET exhibition to learn about the construction process of SIBET, main research directions, the current development and next development stages. Subsequently, ProfessorGlaser gave a speech entitled “Optimal Control of Spin Dynamics in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy and Imaging”. Researchers from Medical Imaging Laboratory participated in the speech. Professor Glaser discussed with young researchers about the report mentioned above and the research methods related.

Professor Glaser‘s main research Interests include Magnetic resonance (NMR/ESR/DNP) theory and methods, Optimal control theory, Quantum information processing and NMR applications to biopolymers.
