Associate Professor Jun J. Hu from Department of Chemistry, the University of Akron, U.S.A. visited SIBET on 22 June 2011.

Firstly,ProfessorHu visited the SIBET exhibition to learn about the construction process of SIBET, main research directions, the current development and next development stages. Subsequently, ProfessorHu gave a speech entitled “The Development of Glucose Responsive HydroGel – Design and Serendipity”. Researchers from Biologics Laboratory, Medical Spectrum Laboratory and Medical Laser Laboratory participated in the speech. Professor Hu discussed with researchers about the report mentioned above and the research methods related.

Professor Hu‘s main research Interests include bio-inspired smart polymer, laser spectroscopy and BioMEMS.
