With the support of Sino-German Center, Sino-German Bilateral Symposium-“Design and Application of Optimal Pulses in Magnetic Resonance” was held in Sibet from May 20 to 24, 2012. More than 20 excellent scholars from China, Hongkong, Germany, and America attended the symposium.
The topic is thedevelopment of optimal pulse and pulse sequences for magnetic resonance spectroscopy, imaging, clinical medicine and other fields, aiming to look for the optimal pulse solution for magnetic resonance.
The optimal pulses with high sensitivity, wide bandwidth and enhancement of relaxation contrast, can significantly improve the effect and quality of testing and clinical images, and indicate the direction of hardware development. In this symposium, the latest progress of magnetic resonance optimal pulse in both China and Germany was also discussed. The objective of the symposium is to promote the progress of the theoretical and experimental research of optimal pulse, trigger the development of the new magnetic resonance hardware or component, accelerate the industrialization process and achieve cooperation goals between the two sides through collaborative research.
