At the invitation of Prof. Yuguo Tang, President of SIBET, Dr. Qimin Quan, the Principle Investigator at the Rowland Institute at Harvard University and Dr. Ruobing Zhang, the Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for Brain Science of Harvard University paid a one-day visit to SIBET on November 1, 2013. In the morning, Dr. Quan gave a talk with the title "Manipulating light at nanoscale", and Dr. Zhang gave a talk with the title "Recent Advances in Fluorescence Microscopy". Dr. Daxi Xiong, the Director of Medical Optics Lab hosted the presentations. After the lecture, two talents came to Medical Optics Lab and Clinic diagnosis Lab. There they discussed with SIBET faculties about some issues in cooperation projects.
