A 3-person delegation from the University of Technology Sydney, headed by Prof. Adel Al-Jumaily, along with Prof. Peter Watterson and Mr. Murray Dickson, visited SIBET on June 7, 2017. Xiong Da Xi, director of the light health research center of SIBET, hosted the delegation and presided over the meeting. Mr. Murray firstly introduced the status of the University of Technology Sydney, especially the teaching and research activities of the university. Prof. Adel then introduced his research area and his team's work on rehabilitation systems and wearable devices. Finally, Prof. Peter vividly described a new magnetic stimulator based on the rotation of a permanent magnet. After the meeting, an in-depth discussion on the respective project of interest was followed. In the afternoon, guests also visited the exhibition hall of SIBET and the related research groups, and expressed the hope to cooperate with SIBET in the further projects.
